Navadvipa Dham, popularly known as Mayapur Dham, is the sacred abode of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. The dham is spread across nine islands formed by the holy Ganges and Jalangi rivers. Each island represents one of the nine limbs of devotional service (Navadha Bhakti) and has its own unique spiritual significance, temples, and pastime places (lila-sthalis). Pilgrims traditionally perform the Navadvipa Dham Parikrama by visiting these nine islands to experience the complete journey of devotion.
Antardvipa is the heart of Navadvipa Dham and the birthplace of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. It is the spiritual center of the entire dham.
